2 Brothers Concrete secured a great project in mid 2019 to work within the Gunwharf Quays shopping complex in Portsmouth. The site was run by Pure Construction and 2 Brothers were chosen for the task in question due to our many years experience of concrete pumping in difficult to reach areas. On this occasion the task was to pour concrete into one of the stores to create a first floor mezzanine area. HMV were moving out of the store and the refit plan involved adding in this mezzanine to maximise available floor area.
As the whole area is essentially a shopping destination the work was required to take place overnight to avoid any unnecessary inconvenience or safety issues for the public. 2 Brothers were more than up to the task and poured concrete along walkways and corridors from the customer car park to the shop in question, which was a distance of over 140 metres - and then also pumped up 1 floor to the new mezzanine area.
This was our first project for Pure Construction but has since led to almost continual work from this source, which illustrates how main contractors find us very reliable to work with on such projects.
