2 Brothers Concrete and Pumping were contracted to supply and pump concrete for a major new residential development project in Southsea, Portsmouth. The large-scale scheme involves the construction of 250 new apartments – a flagship new build designed to provide much-needed housing in the Hampshire region.
Our role was to deliver a reliable, efficient, and high-volume concrete pumping service across multiple phases of the build, helping the development stay on schedule while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Project Brief
The project began on 21st August and remains ongoing as we continue to supply high-performance concrete for various structural phases. To date, we’ve completed five separate pours, delivering over 150m³ of concrete across different sections of the new apartment block.
Because the site layout and access points varied across the development, we’ve utilised a range of boom pump sizes to reach all required areas safely and efficiently – including a 20m boom pump for the lower floors, and larger units for elevated or hard-to-reach zones.
This flexibility ensures smooth concrete placement even in complex environments, helping the main contractor maintain progress across multiple building sections simultaneously.

- Supplied and pumped over 150m³ of ready-mix concrete for foundations, floor slabs, and structural elements.
- Deployed multiple boom pump configurations to suit each stage of the build.
- Worked in coordination with site managers and contractors to ensure efficient scheduling and continuous pours.
